About Invisalign Cost
Ask two orthodontists in the same city to quote an identical case and you can get numbers hundreds of dollars apart, both legitimate. The full published range runs from under $3,000 for a minor touch-up to well past $8,000 for a complex full-arch case. This site exists to narrow that spread down to something you can walk into a consultation already understanding.
What the calculator weighs
Four inputs drive the range: treatment scope (a Lite case for minor spacing versus a comprehensive full-arch correction), whether an orthodontist or a general dentist with Invisalign training is treating you, whether an orthodontic insurance benefit applies, and your ZIP code. Refinement aligners and retainers are called out on their own because providers often leave them off the headline quote even though they add real cost by the end of treatment.
Where the numbers come from
We build our ranges from published provider fee surveys, Align Technology's disclosed pricing tiers, and regional US dental cost data, not from a single practice's rate card. Invisalign Cost is independent; Align Technology and dental practices don't sponsor this site or influence what we publish.
Who's writing this
One person handles the research and copy on this site: Naomi Foster, whose background is laid out on the authors page. Chris Terry started invisaligncost.net inside the wider Encore Editorial group and reviews new figures before they go live, but he isn't the one drafting the guides. Their working rules, how a claim gets checked and what happens after a reader flags a mistake, live on the editorial standards page.
Who pays the bills here
Running the calculator costs nothing to you. Instead, some of the links here route to a provider network, and if that connection leads to a booking, the network pays us for the referral. That income has zero pull on the numbers the calculator returns or what a guide says; the pricing model gets built the same way with or without a single click on those links. Either way, treat the output as a planning figure, then get an orthodontist or dentist to examine your teeth and put a real price in writing.
